Tonight's The Night!!! Or so the song goes.

REAL.GOOD.COFFEE
I'm going to begin something new this week. We receive so many gracious compliments about our coffee, staff and shop in general, I thought it would be nice to share some of those.
In place of what has been "Coffee Quotes", will now become "Customer Qutoes". This week's just came in yesterday. It's incredibly gratifying to receive messages like this. It's exactly what we hoped to achieve in the beginning and each morning when we open up.

The orange caramel latte is proving to a big hit. If you haven't tried one, I would encourage you to do so.

I am not a "flavored coffee" kind of person but, this beverage is delicious!

Perfectly balanced orange notes combined with our bold Pamplona Espresso Blend, creating a delicious semi-sweet beverage.

It's only been a bit over two weeks ago that we began opening on Sundays and the response has been overwhelming!

As a result, we've adding staff so we can minimize wait times and are extending our hours. We'll now be open until 5 pm on Sundays.
When first meeting with Ted Mishima and Francoise Weeks about the possibility of hosting an opening of their collaborative work, it seemed months away. The time has finally arrived.
Tonight's The Night!!! Probably not in the way Rod Stewart intended but, in any regard...

I hope you'll make plans to join us this evening between 6-9 pm. Ted and I hung his photographs last night and they look stunning! Couple that with models adorned in the botanical creations of Francoise milling about the room... It should be be an evening to remember. Small nibbles along with sangria will be served as well as "kid-friendly" goodies.
As many of you also know, St. Johns Coffee Roasters is a huge fan of the series of jazz piano concerts put on by the one and only, George Fendel. Next Tuesday, February 24th, exceptional jazz guitarist, Mark Elf will perform as a part of this series, coinciding with this year's Portland Jazz Festival.

He will perform in a trio setting with local greats, Ed Bennett on bass and Ron Steen on drums. Each of these concerts sells out so please make your reservations early. You will not be disappointed. Suggested donation is only $15 per person.
Jessica is at the Hawthorne New Seasons today, from 11 am - 2 pm, sampling our coffees. If you're in the area, please stop by, sample some coffee and say hi.
We are geared up to keep the world caffeinated this weekend with lots of fresh roasted, organic and fair trade coffees so stop by and enjoy some here or to take home.
Until next week, many thanks again for your CONTINUED support and keep the coffee flowing!
